Flood Recovery Support Coming to the Parkland Region (HAPPENING TODAY!)

Need Help with Flood Recovery?

Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure's Emergency Management Organization (EMO), in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, is providing in-person recovery support and services for residents affected by recent flooding.

Residents are invited to attend a Recovery Support Community Hub in Dauphin, Russell, or Roblin. These locations will serve residents from surrounding communities and municipalities. Virtual support is also available for those unable to attend in person.

Recovery specialists can help residents:
- Understand insurance.
- Complete financial assistance applications.
- Access information on recovery programs, services, and eligibility requirements.

Recovery Support Community Hubs:
The following locations will serve as Recovery Support Community Hubs for residents across the Parkland Region. Residents are encouraged to attend the location most convenient for them.

Can't Attend in Person?
Virtual recovery support is available through the Canadian Red Cross. Recovery specialists can assist residents by phone or through Teams or Zoom. They can help complete applications, explain required supporting documentation, and provide guidance on submitting applications and additional information. Community Services

Community services in the Municipality of Roblin are delivered through a combination of municipal departments and locally operating organizations. These services support residents in day-to-day life, public safety, and long-term well-being—from infrastructure and emergency response to health, education, and transportation.

Public Safety Services
Includes fire and rescue operations, policing, municipal by-law enforcement, and emergency management coordination. These services are provided through both the Municipality and regional partnerships.
 
Public Works & Infrastructure
Covers municipal services such as garbage pickup, recycling, road maintenance, snow clearing, and access to live grader tracking during winter and spring maintenance seasons.

Healthcare & Social Services

Outlines available healthcare, diagnostic, and public health services, as well as support programs for seniors, childcare, and healthcare workers. Services are delivered in partnership with Prairie Mountain Health and community-based organizations.


Utilities & Transportation

Includes municipal water and sewer services, electricity and gas providers, water quality reporting, cemetery mapping, and transportation options such as the Handi-Van and out-of-town transit services.

Education & Support
Provides information on local education services operating in Roblin, including Roblin Elementary School, Goose Lake High School, and LEARN—an adult learning organization offering literacy, EAL, and diploma prep programs.

Whether provided directly by the Municipality or through partner organizations, these services are essential to keeping Roblin safe, supported, and connected.
