Roblin & District Health Centre
The health facility in Roblin is a modern, 25-bed active treatment hospital juxtaposed with a 60-bed Personal Care Home. The Health Centre employees over 125 full-time, part-time, and casual staff along with 3.5 full-time physicians. Services provided include 24-hour Emergency Service and diagnostic services. Visiting services include ultrasound, podiatry, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietician, mammogram, Diabetes Education, Addictions Foundation.

W.E. Nash Medical Clinic
The W.E. Nash Medical Clinic provides medical, dental and optometry services. It is attached to the Roblin District Health Centre making it accessible and convenient for patients, staff and physicians.

Roblin Services to Seniors
The Roblin Service to Seniors is governed by a community board composed of members from the Municipality of Roblin.
Our key services are:
- Lifeline: Help is just a button push away. One press of a button worn around the neck puts seniors in touch with help instantly. The cost is a mere $1.00 a day. Installation and servicing is all provided locally through Roblin Services to Seniors.
- Congregate Meal Programs: Roblin Service to Seniors sponsors the congregate meal programs at Roblin Residence and Maple Manor. Seniors are provided with a hot nutritious meal in a family-like setting.
- HandiVan: Roblin Services to Seniors worked closely with the Municipal Office to ensure transportation is available for medical appointments, grocery shopping, social outings and/or wherever a person wants to go. The local handi-van capacity is 6 seats plus 2 wheel chair spots. Cost is $5 for a 1-way trip in town and out-of-town transportation is provided at $0.60 per kilometre. - Meals on Wheels: Roblin Service to Seniors co-ordinates 14 community groups to delivery meals to individual's home three times per week.
- Filling Out Forms: Roblin Service to Seniors fills out many forms for seniors including OAS, CPP and GIS forms; replacement birth certificates and social insurance cards.
- Information and Referral: Roblin Service to Seniors is a one-stop information service for seniors and their families. We can connect people with Home Care programs, or with support groups such as those for Alzheimers, Parkinsons and cancer. We also provide assistance with admission to personal care homes or with renting an apartment.

Services provided at the Parkland Community Health Office include:
Home Care
The Manitoba Home Care Program is a community-based program that provides home support to individuals, regardless of age, who require health service or assistance with activities of daily living. Home care works with individuals and provides assistance to help them stay in their homes for as long as safely possible. Anybody can make a referral to home care. Services provided by Home Care are:
- Health Care. Nurses can provide nursing care. Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist referrals can be made on a client's behalf.
- Respite Care. Arranged through Community Health and available at the Crocus Court Personal Care Home to provide relief for short periods of time for the family care-giver.
- Supplies & equipment. Some supplies & equipment needed for client care may be available through home care.
- Adult Day Program and Meals on Wheels can be accessed through home care.
- Application to Personal Care Home is completed with assistance from home care coordinators.
- The Manitoba Home Oxygen Program which provides oxygen concentrators to qualifying clients is monitored by home care.
Meals on Wheels
The meals on wheels program functions out of the Dietary Department of the Roblin District Health Centre. The Home Care Office does assessments, and clients who are unable to provide their own food are delivered hot meals three times per week.
Public Health Program
Public Health Nursing focuses on the health of the entire populations or communities. Public Health nursing expertise is in the promotion and protection of health and the prevention of disease. The Public Health Program provides a broad range of services that include:
- Reproductive health, pregnancy / childbirth and parenting
- Family health for children, adolescents, adults and the elderly
- Nutrition education
- Prevention of injury, chronic diseases and substance abuse/addictions
- Families First offers home visiting supports to families with children, from pregnancy to school entry. The program is offered to qualifying families on a volunteer basis.

Health Promotion Coordinator
The Health Promotion Coordinator works with community groups and partners to identify, plan and implement initiatives related to health promotion and disease prevention, based on identified health needs.
Mental Health Services for both adults and child/adolescence
Mental Health professionals provide services to individuals experiencing mental health issues. Services available include: assessment, counselling, therapy, crisis intervention, consultation, public and professional education.
Home Care Program
Home Care is a community-based program that provides home support to individuals who require health services or assistance with activities of daily living that are not available from existing supports or community resources. Home care works with individuals and provides assistance to help them remain in their own home for as long as is safely possible. A professional assessment of the individuals needs, existing supports and community resources will determine eligibility for the Manitoba Home Care Program.

The Regional Diabetes Program (RDP) provides education in individual and group settings. Nurse educators, dietitians and a community diabetes educator deliver the program.

Police - RCMP
Criminal Record Check Information
Roblin RCMP are trying to stream line the growing number of Criminal Record Check requests at the local detachment. In order to speed the process, we are now adding the application instructions to the Roblin website. This way applicants now only need to attend the detachment to drop off the completed forms and payment, and pick up once they are completed.
Criminal Record Checks for volunteers are usually free if an applicant can provide a letter from the volunteer organization with the application forms.
Criminal Record Check for employment, education, fostering, pardons, adoptions, travel visa's, permanent residencies will cost $10.00 (cash only) at the RCMP Detachment. If prints are required, other fees can apply.
