Position Objectives:

The Municipality of Roblin is seeking two motivated and reliable individuals to join our Public Works team for the upcoming season. These temporary positions offer hands-on experience in maintaining and improving infrastructure while working in a team-oriented outdoor environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintenance and repair of roads, signage, ditches, and drainage systems
  • Operate basic hand and power tools
  • Perform general labour duties
  • Support equipment operators and other Public Works staff
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license, at minimum, is required; a higher class license would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in equipment operation including but not limited to grader, loader, tractor, etc.) construction, or public works is considered an asset

Term: April to November (weather and operational needs dependent)
