Conservation Officer Service

The Conservation Officer Service operates locally within the Municipality of Roblin and plays a key role in protecting public safety, managing natural resources, and ensuring responsible use of the land. Conservation officers are provincial enforcement officers tasked with upholding laws related to fish, wildlife, forests, parks, and public land.

Officers work in our area year-round and respond to a range of environmental, wildlife, and public safety concerns.

Reportable Activities
Residents are encouraged to report any of the following:
  • Hunting at night, out of season, or in restricted areas

  • Discharge of firearms from roadways

  • Exceeding hunting or fishing limits

  • Illegal sale of fish, wildlife, or other resources

  • Human-wildlife conflict or unsafe wildlife encounters

  • Injured or mistreated wildlife

  • Active or suspicious wildfires

Reports can be submitted to the local Conservation Officer, or directly to the Turn In Poachers (TIP) Line at 1‑800‑782‑0076 (toll free).

The Conservation Officer Service is a provincial enforcement agency operating under Manitoba Natural Resources and Northern Development. While not administered by the Municipality, it plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, sustainability, and protection of our region’s natural spaces.
