Harvest Legacy Project is currently seeking sponsorship and donations for the 2026 growing season, with all the profits from this year going to the same project (the pool).

We have the same 80 acres of crop land this year, rent free, and are now looking for donations to help cover the costs of this project. Canola will be the crop this coming growing season and the costs will consist of purchasing seed, fertilizer, chemical, insurance, fuel and other possible secondary expenses. Any product or service, or any portion thereof, that is provided for this project through donation or sponsorship will directly affect the profitability of this initiative and maximize the funds available for community projects

If you are interested in supporting our project, we have a few ways you can help

Option 1 – If you are interested in purchasing or donating crop inputs for this project, we are currently looking for seed, chemical and fertilizer donations. If any farmers or companies would like to support this project by purchasing or donating fertilizer or chemicals, they can contact Kiana Sajtos or Dwane Brook at the Co-op Agro (204-937-6402) for details.

Option 2 – If you are a farmer and are interested in donating time and/or equipment to help with the seeding, harvest, spraying, stone picking or field work, please contact Walter Hammond at 204-937-7678.

Option 3 – Sponsor an acre. As a sponsorship option we will offer sponsor an acre (or multiple acres) for which you can donate $100/acre sponsorship. Please contact Tammy Leflar at 204-937-0846 for more information

Option 4 – We are grateful for any donation towards this project and all funds donated will be used to help cover the costs and put money back into the community. If you are interested in making a financial donation, any amount is greatly appreciated. You can donate by either making a cash or cheque donation at the Municipal Office, payable to "Municipality of Roblin" with the memo of “Roblin & Community Harvest Legacy Project”.

This project is made possible due to the Municipality of Roblin’s generous donation of the rent-free land as well as the offer to handle the financial aspects and provide seed money to get the project started.

With continued support we hope this project can help our communities in areas that may benefit residents for years to come.
