ATTENTION FARMERS AFFECTED BY FLOODING
If your farm has been impacted by recent flooding, you may be eligible for Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) for certain uninsurable losses.
The DFA program may provide assistance for eligible recovery costs, including:
- Debris clean-up and removal
- Essential building repairs and restoration
- Livestock losses and fencing
- Harvested and stored crops
- Field erosion and ditch restoration (eligible situations)
- Emergency livestock evacuation costs
- Mental health supports and financial counselling
