WATER RESTRICTIONS REMAIN REMAIN IN EFFECT

The Municipality is once again falling behind at the lift stations. Although conditions may appear normal at the surface, they are not; significant groundwater continues to enter the sanitary sewer system and is placing extreme pressure on municipal infrastructure.

Residents are asked to reduce water use wherever reasonably possible, including laundry, long showers, dishwashing, and other non-essential water use. We understand that conserving water is challenging, but every reduction helps prevent sewer backups and system failures.

Sump pumps and groundwater must not discharge into the sanitary sewer system. If your sump pump is connected to the sewer, disconnect and redirect it immediately to a location where the water cannot flow back into the sanitary sewer system.

Free sump-pump discharge hose is available at the Municipal Office. If you need hose, please ask. If you need assistance determining how to properly reroute your sump pump, please contact the Municipal Office.

The Municipality of Roblin is asking residents to report any flood-related damage to private property resulting from the recent flooding event.

To report flood-related damage, submit an online form available at: www.roblin.ca/2026flood or by contacting the Municipal Office by telephone at (204) 937-8333.

Property Surveys and Plans

The Municipality of Roblin is not licenced to perform land surveys, locate survey pins, confirm property boundaries, or provide measurements of private property.

Property boundaries, building locations, and encroachments must be confirmed by a licensed Manitoba Land Surveyor. Municipal staff cannot determine where your property begins or ends, and cannot assist with locating or replacing survey markers or pins.

If you require a survey for construction, fencing, property disputes, or general confirmation of boundaries, you must retain a Manitoba Land Surveyor.

In some cases, the Municipal Office may have copies of survey plans on file that can be viewed for general reference. These plans are not guaranteed to be current or complete and are provided for information purposes only. They do not replace a legal survey and should not be relied upon to establish property boundaries.

To obtain an official copy of a registered survey plan, you may order one through Teranet Manitoba here:
