Water Restrictions

First off, thank you.

When we first asked residents to reduce water use, our community stepped up in a huge way. Water consumption was cut by nearly 50%, and it made a tremendous difference in helping protect our wastewater system.

Unfortunately, we're now seeing water use begin to climb again; and it's starting to create problems once more.

While things may look like they're back under control, they aren't. Our wastewater system continues to operate under significant strain, and we need everyone's help to keep it functioning.

We are once again asking all residents to reduce water use as much as possible.

Please:
- Keep showers as short as possible.
- Delay laundry and dishwasher loads if they can wait.
- Use only the water you truly need.
- Continue to keep sump pumps disconnected from the sanitary sewer system. Sump pumps must discharge outside, not into the sewer.

Every litre we keep out of the system helps.

We know everyone has already made sacrifices, and we truly appreciate it. We are simply asking for one more push while we continue responding to the ongoing flooding situation.
